Brand Marketing Concepts · James Armstrong

Sixteen years of Amazon consulting, written down.

I spent sixteen years as a professional Amazon and e-commerce marketing consultant — advising sellers, managing accounts and cleaning up the expensive messes. That experience is now in two books, so you can read it instead of hiring it.

Start with the Pocket Guide & Quick Start Read Do Not Sell on Amazon

Both titles are on Amazon in paperback and Kindle. The companion worksheets are here on the site.

Amazon Seller's Pocket Guide & Quick Start
  • 16 years of consulting
  • Two books in print
  • 39 worksheets & checklists
  • Free glossary & scam guide
  • No sales call required

Why the consulting became books

Brand Marketing Concepts spent years doing Amazon account management, listing reinstatements, PPC and marketplace strategy for other people’s businesses. The work was good. It also did not scale, and it priced out exactly the sellers who needed the advice most — the ones about to place a first order.

The same questions

Every engagement started with the same twenty questions. Answering them one client at a time was the least efficient thing I did.

Written down, not billed

Everything I used to charge for is now in two books you can read this week — the checklists, the numbers, the mistakes.

Nothing held back

No teaser chapters, no upsell at the end. The fill-in worksheets from the books are here too, and three of them are free.

The books

Two titles, written to be read in order or on their own. Both are plain-language and specific — fee math, real screenshots of the traps, and checklists you fill in before you spend money.

Do Not Sell on Amazon

The cautionary one. What the fee stack really takes, how accounts get suspended, how competitors attack listings, and the questions to ask a supplier before you wire anything. Read it before you commit capital.

About James Armstrong

I have sold online since 1999 and spent sixteen years consulting professionally on Amazon and e-commerce marketing — account management, listing and account reinstatements, advertising, brand protection and marketplace strategy, through Brand Marketing Concepts LLC.

These days I point that marketing experience at my own company. I own and operate Ashe County Livery, a luxury transportation service in the North Carolina and Virginia High Country — wine tours, weddings and airport transfers, with 100 Five-Star Reviews on Google and growing. Running and marketing a business of my own is the best argument I can make that the advice in these books works.

The books are how I answer the Amazon questions now. If you have read one and want to tell me it helped — or that I got something wrong — I read every message myself.
