1. Who we are

Brand Marketing Concepts, LLC, 1203 S Jefferson Ave, West Jefferson, NC 28694, United States, operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Plainly: we collect very little, we use it to answer you and to deliver what you bought, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a form on this site we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, company, email address, phone number, time zone, the service you are asking about and your message. We collect this only because you chose to send it.

Purchase information. Digital products are sold and delivered through Payhip, our third-party checkout provider. Payhip collects your name, email address, billing details and payment card information in order to take payment and send your download. We never receive or store your card details. We can see the order record, including your name and email address, so that we can support your purchase.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server and analytics tools record technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit and the site you arrived from.

3. Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies. Some are strictly necessary to make WordPress and our forms work. Others are set by third-party services we use, including HubSpot, which places a visitor cookie so that a form submission can be matched to the visit it came from. If you block cookies in your browser, the site will still work; we simply will not be able to connect your enquiry to your visit.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

4. Why we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and provide the information you asked for.
  • To deliver, support and, if necessary, refund a purchase.
  • To send you email you have asked to receive, such as notification of a new book. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To understand in aggregate which pages people find useful, so we can improve them.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run this business, and only for that purpose:

  • Payhip — checkout, payment processing and digital delivery.
  • HubSpot — our CRM and form handling, which stores enquiries so we can respond to them.
  • Our web host and email provider — to host the site and send and receive email.
  • Analytics providers — to report site usage, generally in aggregate.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, a subpoena or a valid legal request, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, and purchase and tax records for as long as the law requires. When information is no longer needed we delete it or stop using it.

7. Your choices and your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@brandmarketingconcepts.net and we will act on your request. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or, if you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, under the UK GDPR or GDPR. We honour those rights for anyone who asks, regardless of where they live. Note that requests about your payment or download records may need to be directed to Payhip as well, since they hold that data as the seller of record for checkout.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This site and our products are intended for adults running or considering a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International visitors

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere. If you use this site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last changed.
